  • LA was one of the greatest things in my development as a leader and a new person in the Community. It challenged me about what I had assumed about myself and why I needed the others that were in this class with me! The number of times I have called on my classmates since my May graduation is too many to recall. EVERY one in that room I now consider leaders that will attack the issues that must be addressed!

Nominations for the Class of 2024 are OPEN!

Please click on the link in the "Nominate Box" to submit your nominations.  Nominations must be made by an alumni of Leadership Albany.  Anyone interested in participating in Leadership Albany should seek out an alumni who knows them well and is able to submit their name for nomination.  A current list of alumni can be found here.

Nominees should demonstrate leadership abilities for the benefit of Southwest Georgia, are typically already successful leaders with diverse backgrounds, represent varied business, civic and non-profit sectors, and are poised to substantially increase and broaden their scope of leadership capacity within their personal and professional lives.

Instuctions and applications will be emailed to those nominated after nominations are closed. Nominees will be instructed on a due date for the application. Alumni making nominations should discuss the process with their candidate and follow up with them to ensure they received and complete the application information. Nominations are now open for the 2024 Class of Leadership Albany. Alumni must nominate by May 30th.



The application for the next Leadership Albany Class will be emailed to each nominee after nominations close. The application is online and nominees will be sent a due date in their email with the application link.
