Norman Pierce has been in ministry for over 20 years and he never tires of seeing others’ lives transformed. The tag line for his church, The Real Church in Albany, is “Come as you are and leave better.”
It’s all about keeping it real: Relevant, Empowering, Alive, Loving. Humility is also important to him.
A devoted family man, Norman and his wife have five children, Breyona, Markel, Jamontae, Kamoree, and Rosa. They are all excelling in education, a fact that makes their father very proud.
He should be proud of himself, as well. In 2013, he decided to make a lifestyle change and lost 105 pounds in less than 10 months, allowing him to come off all of his medications for diabetes, high blood pressure, etc.
“I decided to help others do the same by connecting spirituality and practicality,” he says. And as a result, his program, the “NewNorm” was born.
