Steven Ramey believes time is often more precious than money.

“I contribute my time, which I feel is more precious than money because I feel each person deserves the amount of respect that money can’t buy,” says the Operations Manager for Albany Area Primary Health Care. “I get excited when I can help someone. In order to be a leader, one must have the ability to serve.”

The avid sports fan also loves to teach, especially speaking on his faith and sharing his Christian life experiences in hopes of helping others.  His father and a brother are pastors, and Steven is an associate minister at Eureka Missionary Baptist Church.

“I want to be remembered as a person who made a difference by serving others. I feel if you’re not making a difference, then you’re wasting your time.”

The youngest of four boys, Steven grew up in Monroe, Georgia. Growing up so close to Athens, he’s a devoted Bulldog fan, but it’s the Atlanta Braves who keep him talking.

“I can watch a baseball game from the first to the last inning,” he admits. “Sometimes I feel as if I should go into sports broadcasting because I watch ESPN more than any other channel.”
